Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026. This policy explains what personal information Sahara Estates collects when you use this website or contact us, and what we do — and never do — with it.
1. Who we are
Sahara Estates is a real estate brokerage based at Sahara Estates, Main Boulevard, DHA Phase 5, Lahore. You can reach us at hello@saharaestates.pk, by phone on +92 42 3577 8899, or on WhatsApp at +92 302 3448246. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to an enquiry and, if you proceed, to complete a property transaction:
- Enquiry details: your name, phone number, budget range, the kind of property you are interested in, and any notes you send us through the contact form, by email or on WhatsApp.
- Transaction documents: if you buy or sell through us, copies of identification (such as a CNIC), allotment letters, registries and payment records that housing societies, development authorities and banks require to verify and transfer a property.
- Website preferences: this website stores a small amount of information in your own browser only — your light/dark theme choice and the properties you mark as favourites. These preferences never leave your device and are not sent to us.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to reply to your enquiry, arrange viewings, verify property documents, negotiate and complete the transaction you asked us to handle, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We may also use anonymised, aggregated figures — never your identity — to understand which areas and property types buyers ask about most.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it to other brokers, developers or marketing lists, and we do not send promotional messages to people who have not asked to hear from us.
4. WhatsApp and the enquiry form
The enquiry form on this website does not store anything on our servers. When you press send, it opens WhatsApp with your message pre-filled, and the conversation then takes place inside WhatsApp under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. If you prefer not to use WhatsApp, you can email or call us instead, and we will handle your enquiry through that channel.
5. Who we share information with
To complete a transaction, the relevant details must be shared with the other party to the deal, the housing society or development authority managing the transfer (for example DHA, Bahria Town or the Capital Development Authority), your bank, and where appointed, your lawyer. We share only the documents each of them needs for verification and transfer. Government authorities may also receive information where the law requires it.
6. Cookies and advertising
This website does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If advertising services such as Google AdSense are added in future, they may use cookies to serve and measure ads; this policy will be updated before any such service is enabled, and you can control cookies at any time through your browser settings. Basic, privacy-respecting analytics may be used to count page visits in aggregate.
7. How long we keep information
Enquiry details are kept for up to twelve months so we can follow up on a search you asked us to continue. Transaction records are kept for at least seven years, as Pakistani tax and property record practice requires. After these periods, records are deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights
You may ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows. You may also withdraw consent for us to contact you about properties. To make any of these requests, email hello@saharaestates.pk or message us on WhatsApp, and we will respond within seven working days.
9. Security and changes to this policy
Transaction documents are stored in access-controlled files, and only the broker handling your deal and our office administration can see them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational care with everything you entrust to us. If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date at the top. Please also read our Terms & Conditions, which govern your use of this website, and our About page for more on how we work.
